Happy Friday!
And welcome to today's edition of 'Conscious living with Purnima'. Today, let's look at recapping some of the practices previously discussed.
Practice 1:
Make people feel seen, valued & respected.
Practice 2:
Catch yourself complaining about things not in your control and ask yourself what's the one thing you can do to improve your situation.
Practice 3:
Tune into your own inner wisdom to make important decisions.
Today, reflect on how consciously you are applying these practices into your life.
You can look at answering a few questions:
✨ When you interact with people are you aware of how your energy impacts the interaction? Do you consciously make the other person feel seen, valued and respected? If not, what's coming in the way. Examine your own attitude.
✨ In the recent past how have you demonstrated a solution oriented approach to your problems? Reflect on the situation.
✨ Have you recently rejected any idea of popular opinion because you felt deep down that it didn't make sense? Have you questioned some of your existing habits and beliefs and dug into their origin?
A lot of what we believe is not our hearts belief. It's just something handed down to us - other people's opinions & prejudices. Has it occured to you to examine some of these ideas you have been living as the truth?
Answering those questions will give you a sense of how truly you are putting these practices into action. Don't take them lightly and be caught up in the hustle, bustle and running that most people's lives seem to be all about. Pause, introspect and live life in a way that's peaceful, harmonious and in alignment with who you are meant to be.
Use today in some reflection. I will see you next week with a practice that has the power to make you feel more connected to the world and those around you.
Good article to read and connect.
