And welcome to today's edition of 'Conscious living with Purnima'.
Conscious living is all about paying attention to our actions and becoming aware of how simple things we do or don't do can impact us and the lives of those around us. Sharpening our awareness can help us choose better, act better.
Going forward each Sunday post you receive from me will prompt you to pay attention to a particular aspect of your life. Use the prompt to reflect, act and awaken to new learnings. Document your observations in your personal journal or write back if something of significance comes up for you.
For today's post we will focus on ‘Energy’.

When we vibe at a higher energy we are able to accomplish more and also cast a favourable influence on those around us. As you go about your daily activities this coming week start paying attention to factors that influence your energy. Some attention areas:
A. What time of the day do you feel most alive?
B. Is there an activity you indulge in that drains you?
C. Is there an activity that fills you up with energy?
For some of us it could be movement or reading a book or writing down thoughts and plans for the future. Identify what it is for you.
D. What people uplift your energy? Just talking to them or listening to them or reading what they have written can be a mood booster.
E. What people suck the energy out of you?
F. What spaces uplift you? Perhaps nature or a place of worship or a gym. And what spaces deplete you?
G. What kind of thoughts pull you down? Can you catch them before they take root and wreak havoc in your mind and heart?
H. What words feel powerful? Pay attention to the language you use in your conversation with others and the impact it has on their energy.
I. What foods energize you? Pay attention to the influence of certain foods on your energy level.
Once you have an understanding of these start using the information to lift yourself and others.
How to use the information you gather:
✨ Schedule important tasks during your high energy moments,
✨ Consciously minimize energy draining activities,
✨ Carve out time to spend in energy uplifting spaces,
✨ Avoid individuals who deplete your energy. Know that you are under no obligation to entertain those not good for your mental health.
✨ Pay attention to your thoughts and see if you can cultivate the capacity to step out of their controlling influence and drop them when they don't serve you.
✨ Pay attention to your words and choose uplifting language over overt criticism, complaints or negative scenario building.
✨ Consciously include foods that energize you.
In addition to using the information you discover to the best of your abilities, look at a simple 2-3 actions plan to take daily to enhance your vibration. I will share my simple daily plan with you for motivation:)

"Energy Audit" to Enhance Elivated Existance! If we have some "seemingly negative feeling" while in the company of sick elderly and we consciously cultivate Empathy to make our presence an Enjoyment to them it can also be a rewarding exercise!!
