Happy Sunday!
And welcome to today's edition of 'Conscious living with Purnima’. In today's post I share with you a resource for listening. I hope you will take the time to listen and find something to learn from it.
“The heaviest burdens that we carry are the thoughts in our head.”
If you have worked with me in any capacity then you know how much emphasis I place on being mindful and prioritising practices to calm the mind. In our fast paced and distracted world, it is easy to lose ourselves. It's important that we be aware of this and consciously cultivate practices that allow us to come home to ourselves and remain centered.
I loved listening to this talk by Jetsunma Tensin Palmo last week and thought I will share it with you today. She talks about understanding the nature of the mind, the suffering caused by identifying with the known, learning to surf the waves of life without getting submerged in them and a lot more.
Enjoy listening and let me know in comments if it striked a chord. If you don't have the time to listen to it today then bookmark it so you can come back to it later.
